COMING UP:
Looking for a few COMMUNITY CONNECTORS!  The CCP Foundation, in partnership with Arc Greater Twin Cities is launching the TYZE initiative in the greater Stillwater area.  To support this mission, we are looking to hire three people to work as community connectors with area families.  Community Connectors will use community connections, relationships, and community organizing skills to create, facilitate, and nurture effective Personal Networks.  A Personal Network supports a person with a developmental disability to live an active life of friendship, relationship and contribution in his/her community.  With training on the TYZE process, a Community Connector will facilitate a collaborative process with individuals and their families to define and create “a good life” as well as to build a Personal Network of individuals to help fulfill on that vision.

Art Works! is a grassroots group committed to creating a community arts collaborative that encourages people with disabilities to discover and express their artistic voice, thereby strengthening the creative spirit in all of us.  With an Immediate goal to develop a sustainable arts program for people with developmental disabilities in the Stillwater area that will bring ArtWorks! into East Suburban Resources  and will pull in a variety of key community partners. Valley Friendship Club - fun social opportunities in the area for children, teens and young adults with and without disabilities. The mission of the Valley Friendship Club is to promote and provide safe accessible social opportunities while fostering friendships.
